Millions of viewers all over the world tuned in yesterday to watch Super Bowl XLIX. Besides witnessing one of the most epic and thrilling Super Bowl games of all time, it was the halftime performance by Katy Perry and friends that has everyone talking.
The pop star put on an epic performance and ran through a list of her hit records. Along with entertaining the Arizona crowd, Perry had guest appearances by Lenny Kravitz and the one and only, Missy Elliot. The “Dark House” singer joined Elliot as she performed her throwback hits “Get Ur Freak On,” “One Minute Man” and “Work It” to the delight of fans in the Arrowhead stadium and TV viewers. The hip-hop community was quick to share their thoughts on the performance of Perry and Missy Elliot, with most of the tweets giving a positive response to the halftime show.
